Sep 17, 2009 also, i own the not so great Belkin F5L009 and can't get the drivers to install on this machine. Belkin's site says, something like, here's a driver for mac os x 10.1-10.3 and another for 10.3-10.57 or something. But nothing for 10.6 and i suspect thats why it cant install?
Right now The software is installed and recognizes the printers and looks exactly the same as before. I did try to uninstall it on one computer but a message ' Belkin Network USB Control Center currently used. Uninstall stopped'.
This message always appears even when the hub is disconnected from the router and not powered. The unit has an IP address and I can ping it and get a normal reply.I have tried just one printer connected to the hub and it shows but will not connect to the network. The 'connect' message flashes for a very brief period and then reverts to the 'unconnected' screen.I can put the IP address into the browser and the Belkin screen appears with the network settings, system status and system information. This shows the device (an HP printer) is recognized but not connected.I just seem to go around in circles with everything appearing as normal but the printer or printers not being able to connect to the hub.
